Planing your flight

One of the other differences here at JSV, is that instead of flying a fictional timetable and routes, we actually use the real life schedules. Follow the step by step instructions below to find and load a real life route into Flight Simulator.
Step 1:
Decide where you want to fly from and to.  Use this link to open the real schedule from Jetstar Airways in a new window and then select where you want to fly from and to.  This will give you the appropriate Flight Number for your flight. Step 2:
Find the correct route in the table below.  You can copy and paste the Route straight into the "SquawkBox Flight Plan Route" field (select only the text in the route and then use [Ctrl+c] for copy and then [Ctrl+v] for paste).

SquawkBox Remarks

The following is a guide to using the Remarks section in SquawkBox.
REG/ = Registration Number (see the Fleet page for a current list of Jetstar Registrations)
PR/ = Operator Jetstar Virtual)
PER/ = Performance Category
RMK/ = Used for general remarks (TCAS EQUIPPED, NO CHARTS, NEWBIE, TIMESHIFT TO XX:XX UTC etc.)
Example:
REG/VHVQG OPR/JETSTAR VIRTUAL PER/C RMK/TCAS EQUIPPED
